Founder & CTO
David is a master in the art of French as much as C++. And he loves to play with words.
In the early 90s, after graduating with a degree in industrial electronic and informatics engineering, David started his career in the field of laser marking techniques by designing the blueprints of unit identification systems for the wine and spirits industries then joined the R&D team of Cyberg, an innovative subsidiary of the Markem-Imaje. In a few years, David deepened his knowledge of hardware and software solutions by developing a large number of industrial applications for unit identification serving various sectors such as chemicals, food and beverages, or metalworking.
At Markem-Imaje, David met Christophe Devins after he was appointed Head of Applications of the group. They quickly formed a winning team to develop and deploy one of the first worldwide unit identification and traceability platforms, which would become a standard in the fragrances and cosmetics industries. At this period in time, with computing capabilities quickly expanding and information technology booming globally, they started to envision the foundations of a new generation of traceability software. They combined David’s expertise in real time processes and systems management with Christophe’s experience in coding and unit traceability to establish Adents. It took them 2 years of intense developments to create a revolutionary platform capable of performing high speed serialization, real time unit traceability and creating a new type of connection between brands and consumers.
Today, David manages the R&D team to standardize Adents software platform and designs new powerful and innovative functional applications.
